Description We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Chicago, Illinois. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the industry, where you will be tasked with handling various accounting functions, utilizing accounting software systems, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize various Accounting Software Systems to manage financial data and processes.

• Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain financial records and ensure timely payments.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with standards.

• Handle Billing Functions, preparing and issuing invoices for customers.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
