AnthroMed Education is excited to welcome TWO passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to our growing team for a full-time position in Chicago Heights, IL. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment that prioritizes the success and well-being of students and staff alike. This school district would love to have these SLPs work over the summer in their ESY programs and also have them return for the 2025-2026 school year!

Position Highlights

  • Position Type: Full-time

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Location: Chicago Heights, IL 60441

  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to severe-profound students within a specialized Adaptive Learning (PAL) Program. (SLPs will receive CPI training)

  • This program has one transition classroom with students up to age 22.

  • The SLPs will provide push-in services and will work on social skills, functional academics, and life skills with their students.

  • SLPs will actively develop, evaluate, and update IEPs in collaboration with a dedicated team of educators and families.

  • SLPs will document and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.

  • SLPs will be expected to do bus and lunch duty.

  • The SLPs will have their own offices and mentors.

  • Additional duties to be assigned.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but CFs are welcome and encouraged to apply!
