Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for utilizing a tape measure to accurately measure material, operating a band saw to cut steel, and ensuring that production speeds are maintained. Your role will also involve quality checking that products are cut to specification, preparing, moving, cleaning, and cutting steel. You will initially train on the first shift and then transition to the second shift.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing environment with large ceilings and open space that is very safety-focused. The environment can be hot in the summers and cold in the winters, although heat lamps are used to moderate the temperature during winter. You will be required to wear steel toe boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses at all times. Random drug tests are conducted to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
