The Role
The Labor Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our labor relations initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive labor relations strategies that align with the Company's long-term goals. The Labor Relations Manager will lead efforts to foster a collaborative and productive relationship with labor unions, ensuring that our labor relations policies and practices support our business objectives, and enhance organizational performance.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic labor relations plans that align with the Company's business goals and objectives.
Lead negotiations for select collective bargaining agreements, ensuring that outcomes support the Company's strategic priorities.
Represent the Company as bargaining agent in advanced grievance meetings with union leadership, bargaining agent escalations, and other bargaining unit wide matters.
Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and human resources partners on complex labor relations matters, including risk assessment and mitigation.
Foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect between management and labor unions.
Analyze labor market trends and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Lead the development and implementation of labor relations policies and programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of labor relations strategies with overall business objectives.
Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in labor relations or a related field, with a proven track record of strategic leadership.
Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the Company.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under constant deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in labor relations or human resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
