Curtiss-Wright Corporation Risk Manager in Cheswick, Pennsylvania
We are looking for a Risk Manager to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.
Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for the performance of relatively small to mid-sized projects or a definable portion of larger projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.

Your Challenge:
Analyzes project data (schedule, cost, rework) to better manage potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions.
Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment of project risk profiles.
Create reports, summaries, presentations, and process documents to display and communicate results.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to effectively analyze and present data representing a project or program’s risk profile.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans for project risks.
Identify economic and financial trends that may present a risk to the company.
Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytical purposes and projects.
Manage Active Risk Manager (ARM) system including training, system updates, and licenses agreements.
Monitor internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision.
Become the overall expert in risk management.
What You Bring:
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering, Management Systems, or Business or relevant field from accredited institution.
Typically 5 - 10 years applicable progressive experience in risk based management roles and/or project management.
Excellent understanding of project management techniques and processes.
Excellent understanding of risk-based project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent understanding and application of process improvement tools and methods.
Knowledge of cost and revenue budgets, Primavera, Microsoft Project and Excel.
Significant experience with Oracle.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of leadership skills.
Strong ability to review and analyze data; and communicate and implement solutions.
Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
