Description
We are offering a dynamic project opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager! The role involves a detailed understanding of purchasing processes and the ability to identify areas of improvement for efficiency. You will be overseeing a small purchasing team, supporting the process, documenting and absorbing duties of the existing Manager. This role also involves conducting strategic meetings and providing completed documentation of processes and recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage a small purchasing team
• Document and assess existing manual purchasing processes to identify areas of improvement
• Collaborate with the Controller and Operations Director to gain a comprehensive understanding of purchasing processes and opportunities
• Utilize CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to optimize purchasing activities
• Conduct strategic meetings to share insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing materials and raw material inventory
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to improve efficiency
• Use Microsoft Excel for KPI reporting and tracking purchase orders
• Manage logistics related to raw materials and manufacturing
• Provide completed documentation of processes and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience
• Expertise in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• Ability to perform KPI Reporting
• Knowledge of logistics in the manufacturing industry
• Familiarity with the manufacturing process
• Proven experience in purchasing activities
• Skilled in handling all purchasing functions
• Ability to manage the purchasing process
• Experience in purchasing materials for the manufacturing industry
• Ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies
• Experience with issuing and tracking purchase orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with raw materials in the manufacturing industry
• Ability to manage raw material inventory effectively
