We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join a payroll team in Chesterfield, MO. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing the company's payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have mathematical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
salary: $21 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data accurately and in a timely manner
Verify timekeeping records and ensure accuracy of hours worked
Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions
Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies
Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
Maintain accurate payroll records and files
Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
