The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for the execution of?the recruitment function for all open positions within the W&P Management group. The main function of this role is to include implementing standard recruitment concepts, practice, and procedures within an agreed upon recruitment model. The Recruiting Specialist must use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruitment goals of several business units. The primary focus of the Recruiting Specialist is to prepare, source, and screen applicants for job openings at all W&P business units. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws is a required skill.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for recruitment of all open positions for all represented business units.
  • Develop creative and attractive job postings based on information provided on the job description and feedback from hiring managers.
  • Research and advise on recruiting sources and strategies to meet needs.
  • Maintain job board sites to meet hiring requirements.
  • Develop phone screen questions and interview guides.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of job descriptions.
  • Conduct initial screening with candidates to determine match to the position requirements.
  • Schedule interviews and/or assessments with hiring teams as requested. May be needed to participate in interviews.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and local HR Manager to prepare and extend employment offers.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of recruitment systems and data.
  • Manage compliance to applicable employment laws and requirements specific to recruitment.
  • Maintain a relationship with recruiting vendors, monitor budgets and seek creative recruiting services within each vendor.
  • Maintain a variety of recruiting metrics or reports to communicate recruitment status and performance to management.
  • Participate in the development of department goals and objectives regarding recruitment.
  • Attend job fairs, recruitment, and networking events.
  • Develop and continuously improve communication systems throughout the corporate and BU environment as it pertains to filling open positions.

Qualifications

Required bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and or 2-4 years of relevant recruiting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.?

Minimum of 1-year experience using a recruitment system;?Preferred experience using Paycor Recruit.

Experience recruiting positions in retail, warehousing, ecommerce, administrative positions are a plus.

Knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws.?

Effective communication capabilities with both verbal and written means.

Ability to read, comprehend and effectively respond to various correspondence.?

Must possess the ability to:?

  • Work independently with a multitude of tasks.?
  • Carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision.?
  • Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with employees,?managers, other departments, and external entities, each of which requires cooperative efforts on both sides.
