Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Candidate will be running and operating a mill machine which cuts out parts and pieces for all metal products and machine parts.
Responsibilities include changing machine parts, updating machine codes, and monitoring all product runs.
Candidates will also perform other duties during machine run times, cross-train on other products, handle housekeeping, and general labor duties as necessary.
They will ensure that non-conforming products do not reach final staging and will learn the entire manufacturing process.
Additional duties include resetting machine programs, using hand grinders and grinding wheels, inspecting dies, operating lab equipment, and using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
The role also involves kitting and assembly of dies and operating overhead cranes.
