Job Title: Construction Materials Testing Technician*
Pay: $18-28 dependent on experience
Job Description
This position is responsible for helping to ensure public safety by traveling to sites to inspect contractor's work and perform basic field soil and concrete tests. The role involves performing field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete, preparing field reports with test results and inspections/observations, and evaluating site and subgrade conditions on construction projects.
Responsibilities

Perform basic field soil and concrete tests
Conduct field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete
Prepare field reports with test results and inspections/observations
Evaluate site and subgrade conditions on construction projects
Essential Skills
Knowledge of ACI standards
Experience with concrete testing
Understanding of construction materials testing
Proficiency in soil sampling
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Open to candidates with varying experience levels
BONUS certifications: ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, WACEL, or ICC certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, and masonry

Work Environment
Work a standard 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00
