Naval Air Systems Command SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Cherry Point, North Carolina
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the VH-92 FST LOGISTICS DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will coordinate program direction and assignments, assist in the planning, analysis and execution of an Effective Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Logistics Support Program. You will coordinate program support issues between the APML, Intergrated Program Team (IPT) Leader and FST Lead as required. You will identify aircraft/engine ILS program planning and execution problems. You will prepare and make oral and written presentations to clearly present specific problems, provide recommendations, or to influence others to adapt to specific ILS related proposals or recommendations. You will review acquisition planning and procurement documents to ensure integration of systems command policies, procedures, contract provisions and contract data requirements for ILS and related programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Delivering products within allocated cost, schedule, technical and support bounds; 2) Demonstrating leadership skills (team building, conflict resolution, workload/priority management, technical credibility, etc.; 3) Explaining and documenting complex, technical problems; 4) Understanding of technical data management to include Interactive Electronic Technical. Manuals (IETMs); 5) Understanding of logistics management and of Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Navy (DON) policies and procedures.
