Naval Air Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Cherry Point, North Carolina
Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the VH-92 Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will use logistics management policies and processes to produce technically accurate and supportable technical directives while ensuring adherence to configuration management requirements. You will coordinate with the fleet, PMA, LKE, and FST technical teams to ensure success of current high level mission requirements. You will review technical data packages to develop and implement successful sustainment and supportability strategies. You will track and manage updates to IETM to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with fielded configuration changes. You will manage logistics tasking and subordinate workload planning to provide support in both technical and administrative aspects. You will use and manipulate data in Logistics Product Data (LPD) application software to support the VH-92A. You will brief upper-level program officials on current status and mitigation strategies for identified logistical risks. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying of ILS elements; 2) Understanding military aviation logistics especially maintenance planning and supply support; 3) Managing logistics workload and plan work of team members in order to provide support; 4) Conflict management, both with personnel and tasking priorities; 5) Written and oral communication skills, with team, senior leadership, to include PMA; 6) Familiarity with LPD/ using an LSA database.
