Job Summary
This position pays $20.20 per hour. Work under the direction of the Project Manager. Assist Project Manager in planning, creating processes and procedures, and customer service relations. Responsible for coaching and solving issues and concerns. Encourage and support employees to ensure they are meeting all company, Sodexo, and Marine standards. Hold daily huddles to go over toolboxes, initiate training, safety, sanitation, and quality control programs. Ensure all employees meet and exceed contract requirements for QAE, customer service (5 Star), safety, cleaning, food serving, and sanitation. Perform duties as Project Manager in their absence.
Primary Duties

Follow-up with employees to ensure they are adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and customer service on serving lines and during meal periods. Work with employees to meet and exceed Sodexo 5-Star program daily.
Perform daily inspection of food serving, proportions, line/area setup, and cleaning to meet contract and QAE requirements. Perform daily facility inspections and forward reports of deficiencies to the Project Manager.
Routinely check HACCP logs for correct temperatures.
Hold pre-service meeting with employees.
Additional Responsibilities
Unlock storage and supply cabinets and ensure they are secured after use.
Notify supervisor immediately of malfunctioning, inoperative, unsafe, or hazardous equipment clean or used by contract personnel.
Receive, document and relay all pertinent information to subordinate employees as related to job performance.
Utilize available manpower to the fullest extent during peak hours and employee breaks.
Assign employee breaks and replace absent employees for their particular shift.
Order supplies. Keep facilities clean.
Assist employees with mandatory trainings.
Handle money and receipts for each shift.
Write reports and recommendations as needed.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s )
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required. Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in any subject preferred.
1-3 years of supervising a minimum of 5-10 employees required. Food service experience preferred.
Must pass ServSafe accreditation within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to motivate employees and resolve conflicts.
Must have ability to manage time effectively.
Basic math skills to balance books accurately.
Sound decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills to solve issues before they become problems, and help create customer loyalty.
Knowledgeable in the following areas: sanitation, conducting training, security.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community and environment.
Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.

The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
