The J Café, a kosher grab-and-go style café located in the heart of Katz JCC, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Café Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering fresh and delicious food to our patrons. This position involves providing excellent customer service, operating the point-of-sale system, and assisting with food preparation and packaging.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and contribute to a welcoming environment.
Ensure a positive and friendly interaction with customers.
Cashier
Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
Accurately ring up food items and process payments (cash/credit cards).
Food Preparation/Packaging
Assist with food preparation and packaging as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food preparation area.
