Job Summary
Comcast Network Facilities & Energy team is looking for a Software Developer on the Critical Infrastructure Tools Integration team. The successful candidate will have broad experience in the following critical domains and have a history of working with the following Data Center Tools & Skills: • Experience using and supporting Linux operating systems. • Scripting in Python, Bash, and PowerShell • Effective problem-solving skills using toolsets such as Grafana to resolve root cause. • Champion an "automate first" attitude, developing continuous integration pipelines to ensure our platforms can scale whilst remaining operationally efficient. • Work closely with users to understand their requirements, share knowledge, and evangelize cloud-native standard methodologies.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Work with a team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying web applications.
Ensure that our web applications are secure, scalable, and reliable.
Work with senior engineers to ensure that our web applications meet the needs of stakeholders and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
Develops software update process for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Assist with researching, writing, and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Qualifications
2+ years experience in web development principles and technologies
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and React Frameworks
Design, develop, and maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Understanding of RESTful web services and API design
Experience with VCS tools like GitHub Repository.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Bachelor's Degree
