The role primarily involves Automation of Key processes, Regulatory Oversight, review of KPI conformance and key Controls implementation in the consumer Operations unit. There are around 200 FTEs involved in processing the customer requests and preparing RBI reports for retail banking business. The Individual selected for this role will be responsible for the output of this unit.

This role requires a person who can review the unit’s performance, review existing processes and evaluate risks associated with the processes, review key reporting requirements such as GST, RBI KYC reports etc., implement Compliance controls which the staffs needs to adhere too.

Daily activities include:

  • Ensure KPI Conformance by the unit

  • Automation of Manual processes

  • RPA and OCR Implementation in Retail Banking Operations

  • GST implementation (ironing out of initial issues)

  • FATCA and CRS conformance for Retail Banking

  • Process Risk Reviews and controls implementation

  • RBI KYC guidelines conformance

  • Regulatory reporting conformance

  • Entitlement Review and Approvals

  • Governance of Post-facto exceptions, Proofing exceptions and MIS exceptions

  • Lead any new process implementation representing Retail Banking Ops

  • Periodic FTE Rationalization and Cost Rationalization

  • Reviews including MCA (Managers Control Assessment



  • Graduate with more than 5 years’ experience in consumer Banking Operations

  • CA with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience

  • MBA from reputed B-Schools with 3 years of Experience
