Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms like Openshift CaaS. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes consoles and cluster management within an on-prem CaaS environment is required.
DevOps : Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, or similar). Ability to maintain scripts to manage deployments.
Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL.
Messaging Systems: Experience with messaging systems such as MQTT or Kafka.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Grafana.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Collaboration & Communication: Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, Java, or Go).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Deployment and Upgrades: Perform application deployments and upgrades across various sites within our on-premises CaaS (Kubernetes) environment. This includes working with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with business & vendor teams.
Application Support: Provide Level 2 support for the application, including troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution. This involves utilizing monitoring tools like Grafana to identify issues, restarting containers as needed, and escalating complex problems to the vendor.
Integration & Configuration: Manage and maintain integrations with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
Monitoring and Performance: Monitor the performance and health of the application using tools like Grafana (or equivalent). Proactively identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain optimal performance and availability.
Security & Compliance: Adhere to security and compliance standards, ensuring the secure operation of the application.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
