About The Role

We currently have a full-time vacancy for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team based in Cheltenham. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the key responsibilities for this role will be to work on product change-overs, preventative maintenance schedules, actioning breakdowns, minimising downtime and providing technical support when necessary. Your commitment, dedication and experience in a lean manufacturing environment will ensure you become an integral part of a small and diverse team.

The core responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining wood work machines, edge bander, CNC machines (Biesse)

  • Maitiaining steel work machines, brake press, lazer cutter, turret punch (vawei, machtech)

  • Maintaining drills, fixtures, saws and moulding machinery for joinery

  • Repair and fault finding on pneumatics and hydraulics machines (fluid power)

  • Welding (MIG/TIG/Arc & Oxy)

  • Maintenance requirements of equipment and tooling

  • General plant maintenance

    About You

    The successful applicant, will demonstrate a strong balance of the following key skills and attributes:

  • Over 5 years proven experience (post trade)

  • Strong initiative and problem solving skills

  • Excellent team player who can work autonomously

  • Up-to-date relevant permits

  • Forklift Licence – preferrable but not essential

  • Compliance to Safety and JSEA (Job Safety & Environmental Analysis)
