Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Chelmsford, Massachusetts
Description We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and may be hybrid or fully on-site, depending on performance.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Resolving customer credit inquiries efficiently
• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, for data entry and customer portal management
• Performing project-based work, requiring strong organizational and analytical skills
• Managing accounting functions related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Activity, and Check Processing. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites is essential.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Must have knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience with Cash Activity management is desirable.
• Must be capable of handling Check Processing tasks.
