Human Resource Clerk (Seasonal)
Location: Chehalis, WA (May temporarily work at two Chehalis plant locations)
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Seasonal employment. Full time or Part time hours available; including some day shifts, but mostly swing or night shift, weekends, overtime and some holidays.
Benefits: Employee Assistance Program and paid sick leave. Upon qualifying, eligible 401k + matching.
Job Responsibilities: The Human Resource Clerk performs administrative support tasks in human resources. The position is under direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager.
- Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to the position and the organization
- Maintains accurate employee files and records
- Assist with employee requests regarding policies and schedules
- Assist with resolving employee concerns and communicating information to employees
- Responsible for maintaining archive records
- Answering general questions regarding employment, records, and status
- Customer service and clerical responsibilities including: answering phones, drafting documents, printing items, organizing work, relaying messages, etc.
- Learn and comply with company standards and operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, with flexibility
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to multitask as well as manage changing priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suites including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual
- Data entry experience
- KRONOS database experience
