WSECU Full Time - Team Leader Member Consultant (Personal Banker) - Chehalis Branch in Chehalis, Washington
The Chehalis branch is looking for a highly motivated and energetic leader to support an exceptional team of Member Consultants. Your day might include: Leading and supporting Member Consultant staff in the sales, service and operational needs of the branch Coaching and developing employees to support WSECU's Brand Promise Assisting branch leadership in meeting management routines of coaching's, observations, evaluations, and monthly dialogs Working individually with direct reports; demonstrating proactive listening, probing and asking clarifying questions to meet staff needs, develop professional skills and provides constructive feedback for their growth Providing frequent communication to inform and educate employees on current and new initiatives and information Documenting employee performance and attendance, while holding staff accountable to meeting our Member Service standards, operational efficiency- including: compliance, policy adherence, balancing, and procedural accuracy Promoting new ideas, adapting to change and leading others to adapt to changing situations Ensuring branch is staffed at an efficient level to balance service expectations and operating expenses Hiring and promotes branch staff that fulfill the Member Experience Principles Ensuring employees promoting are equipped to meet member needs while observing the Credit Union's Operating Guidelines and Code of Conduct Standards Performing duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to ,the Bank Secrecy Act Contributing to your teams successes and celebrating along the way Having fun! What you bring to the team: Two (2) years of college OR substitute two (2) years of experience with customer service and/or financial institution experience Minimum of one (1) year experience of branch operations, including at least one (1) year as a Member Consultant or similar role Computer experience; proficiency in Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel and Word Must be able to learn, maintain, and pass continuing annual regulatory education requirements Must possess strong interpersonal skills: courteous, professional, friendly, warm, empathic, level-headed and composed Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, demanding sales and service culture Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually Bonus points if you have: Credit Union experience and understanding of financial regulations Leadership experience New account/consumer lending experience Sales and customer service training Competitive pay: $28.08 - $42.12 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package The target starting pay for this position is $28.08 - $35.10 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
