Job Title : Project Manager - Plant Restructuring and Installation of New Racking Systems in Warehouse Setting

Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a plant layout project focused on the installation of new rack systems. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering, production management, or warehouse supervision experience. They will be responsible for designing the plant layout based on material flow, sourcing materials and vendors, communicating with vendors, and managing the overall budget. This role requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop an efficient plant layout for the installation of new rack systems.
Source and procure materials required for the project, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Communicate and coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Manage the overall project budget, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.
Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless project implementation.
Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of plant layout design and material handling principles.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus, but not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00
