Walden Security HR / Training Administrator. in Chattanooga, Tennessee

SUMMARY :

Edits, schedules, audits, and updates training focused on contract compliance and providing the highest quality training products for security personnel servicing the contracts supported by the Federal Services Division (FSD). This position is supervised by and reports to the Director of Training, Federal Services Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and deploy eLearning content based on the current and future needs of any FSD contracts.

• Update Walden Security training forms as necessary, design and modify required training documentation (e.g. checklists, sign-in sheets, forms, etc.) to ensure they are up-to-date.

• Collaborate with Training Instructors to make necessary modifications and updates to content and lesson plans, as requested by the U.S. Marshals Service or other FPS contracts to meet Federal contract requirements.

• Coordinate the day-to-day functioning of the LMS as it pertains to FSD requirements.

• Manage the training LMS regarding course creation, user creation, and training assignments, and review, prepare, and update training and LMS content before each start of the Fiscal Year.

• Generate Training reports, such as completions and certifications based on courses.

• Manage training communications (emails, alerts, releases, etc.) per contract deadlines.

• Troubleshoot any training issues involving the LMS reported via end users or other sources. Provide guidance to Contract Managers and District Supervisors for filling out required training forms.

• Process New hires

• Update spreadsheets with new hires, LOA, FMLA, terminations, transfers, etc.

• General training/administrative support to assigned contracts/circuits (to include email, phone calls, etc.)

• LMS data entry and support

• Receive, review, and audit training schedules

• Regulate, check, and confirm all Training Instructors are certified during documentation review/submit requests for training instructor approval to Manager

• Initial FAQ documentation audit/processing/entry for Phase I, Phase II, and Annual training. • Transfer FAQ documentation audit/processing/entry

• Remedial Training documentation audit/processing/entry

• Conduct Monthly Activity Reports reviews

• Consolidate/ship Certificates (when necessary)

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college/university. A focus on instructional design, organizational development, operations or training, or equivalent fields is preferred. Experience in project management, course development, and classroom presentations; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations using the English language. Ability to write reports, internal business correspondence, curriculum, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, the Training Administrator should possess moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; preferred experience with Learning Management Systems; should have a working knowledge of Internet programs and other software as required and have the ability to learn new software programs.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

Currently possesses or has the ability to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
