Job Title: Rail Car Unloader
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated rail car unloader to join our team. This role involves working in bulk truck and railcar loading operations, ensuring that orders are loaded correctly and on time. The position requires operating various equipment, maintaining safety standards, and performing sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks. We have all shifts available with pay ranging from $19.73 - $20.13 per hour with advancement.
Responsibilities
Operate all equipment required to load bulk trucks and railcars.
Work safely on top of bulk trucks or railcars using appropriate fall protection.
Follow schedules to ensure orders are loaded by the correct departure time.
Perform sanitation and some preventative maintenance.
Work outside in all weather conditions.
Direct other employees in proper safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
Learn about and operate all equipment in the bulk house.
Follow all safety and food safety rules and procedures.
Essential Skills
Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8-12 hours if necessary.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
Basic problem-solving skills.
Mechanical aptitude skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand tools, assembly, mechanical assembly, and general labor.
Experience with unloading and inventory management.
Warehouse environment experience.
Forklift operation experience.

Work Environment
This position involves working in bulk truck and railcar loading operations, operating equipment required for loading, and adhering to safety and food safety procedures. The role requires working outside in various weather conditions and being able to work night shifts (6pm - 6:30am) on a 4 on, 4 off rotation. Reliable transportation is necessary, as well as the ability to rotate shifts and work some weekends.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.73 - $20.13
