Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to support operations in Downtown Chattanooga! The ideal candidate will have experience in managing collections for a variety of accounts and will be adept at handling high-volume collections processes. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to resolve disputes and manage accounts receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage collections for a diverse portfolio of accounts.
Contact clients via phone and email to collect on past due accounts.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
Collaborate with internal teams such as sales and customer support to resolve billing issues and disputes.
Escalate accounts to leadership or legal teams as necessary.
Conduct thorough research on accounts to ensure accurate and timely collections.
Issue credit memos and process billing adjustments as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in a collections role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with handling billing disputes and resolving issues promptly.
