Position Overview
Finishing Process Technician
General Statement of Duties:
Responsible for maintaining the lineup for carpet and turf, maintaining quality documentation, and updating specs for running carpet and turf.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Line up carpet and turf
Work with the Scheduling department on the lineup
Create buggy sheets and blueprint folders for turf
Input and update specs for carpet and turf
Update standard work
Maintain documentation such as testing, calibrations, and COA's
Order supplies and cores
Help with testing moisture barrier products
Help with running trials
Fill out daily reports and metrics
*Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.
*Miscellaneous duties as required.
Qualification Requirements:
Education, Experience, Training, and Certifications/Licenses:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations. Familiarity with mainframe and
communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to: Sit, speak, hear, handle, write, look at computer screen, look at reports.
Occasionally required to lift: 25 Lbs
Work in a normal industrial environment with background noise, humidity and walk temperature variation.
Vision requirements:
Close vision
Work near moving mechanical parts
Quality and Safety Responsibility:
This job has the responsibility and authority to report to management any quality and safety problems, and potential problems, that are encountered while performing the job. This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output.
