We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for a Receptionist in Chatsworth, California. The selected candidate will be joining a small team in the tax preparation industry. The role primarily involves managing high volumes of incoming calls and coordinating appointments, along with maintaining client files and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage incoming calls, handling high volume calls

• Schedule appointments, confirm them, and prepare necessary documents

• Welcome and assist clients upon arrival

• Maintain detailed and accurate client records

• Provide assistance in tax preparation activities

• Respond to customer inquiries effectively

• Monitor client accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist role.

Experience working at a CPA firm or tax industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in performing receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing appointments.

• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Proficiency in using office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
