Job Description Product Development Specialist TEL designs and manufactures complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our equipment integrates a wide variety of wafer processing technologies from wet to vacuum; and all the support systems to make them run: Electrical power systems, mechanical utilities, PLC controls, vacuum technology, custom design robotics and mechanisms, high voltage, RF generators, complex motion control, process chemical delivery and more. Tokyo Electron Limited is looking for an experienced, process driven, results oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to champion Supplier Quality in our organization. Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Tests experimental models under simulated operating conditions for purposes of development standardization, and feasibility of design. Develop and apply standards for reliability, contamination, and platform/process stability to meet customer expectations. Develop and execute test plans in the above areas. Gather operational and test data; evaluate and document test results for use by internal and external customers. Perform failure analysis and root cause identification. Work closely with engineering to implement and test solutions for performance and reliability issues. Document procedures for preventative maintenance to maximize tool availability. As an individual contributor, may be responsible for project execution and coordination. Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will very according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the division. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and no experience or Associate degree in electronic technology, Machine Tool Technology, and 5 years experience in Semiconductor Capital Equipment Development or Manufacturing. Preferred Requirements: Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings. Experience working with high-voltage systems preferred. Familiarity with ion optics, high-vacuum systems preferred Diversity creates an innovative culture.
