Electrical Engineer US-MN-Chaska Job ID: 2021-10392 Type: Active Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Engr Chaska Bldg 3 Overview Entegris is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team within the Liquid Packaging and Dispense organization supporting Dispense, Sensing and Concentration technologies used in high purity liquid chemical processes for semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities * Design, develope and maintain embedded products and test electronics, including oversight of electronics manufacturing at local and overseas suppliers * Integrating technologies such as sensors and brushless/stepper motors for use in microprocessor-based systems with serial digital communications * Testing, debugging, qualifying, and documenting product assemblies * Hosting design reviews and technical meetings, steering technical discussions and analysis of technical evidence * Driving new product designs and modifications to existing product designs to manufacturing for full-scale production * Working closely with other engineering disciplines (electrical, software, mechanical, quality, test, manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain) to integrate all final product aspects * Serving as the subject matter expert in electronic development and regulatory compliance (RoHS, EMC, Safety, Hazardous Location) * Creating technical documentation and specifications * Exhibiting sounds judgement and decision making based on schedule and cost impact * Providing work direction to technicians Qualifications * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science * 5+ years of Engineering experience * Ability to proficiently use fundamental electrical engineering lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, data-acquisition units and PC-based software tools * Experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microprocessor-based systems * Experience with Code Composer Studio IDE, Keil Vision IDE, Visual Studio, and/or InstallShield preferred * Experience with RoHS, CE, FDA, and/or UL agency compliance * Experience with product testing, verification and documentation (i.e., black-box & white-box methodology of product firmware testing and test-report documentation is a plus) * Experience with serial digital communication (Modbus, RS232, and RS485) and/or DeviceNet communication protocol * Ability to create precise documentation and reports without supervision * Experience with the creation of automated test systems (both software & hardware system components) for final product & circuit board assemblies is preferred. Examples are but not limited to National Instruments LabView and/or TestStand software, VB.NET, and Agilent Data Acquisition units * Ability to work effectively & respectfully in a team-based & multi-national global engineering environment * Willingness and ability to be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced design environment * Excellent written & verbal communication skills along with efficient project management skills * Excellent fundamental computer skills are required. PC maintenance and basic MS-Windows software experience (MSWord, Excel, Visio, and Access) * Willingness and ability to be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced design environment; ideal candidate must have ability to work effectively & respectfully in a team-based & multi-national global engineering environment Apply Here: PI149995132
