Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The role involves welding on pressure vessels using MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore techniques. You will work to blueprint specifications and must be familiar with weld symbols and the relevant codes. This position requires a 6G certification and extensive welding experience.
Responsibilities
Perform welding on pressure vessels using MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
Adhere to the company's welding codes and standards.
Execute high-quality welds on various materials and structures.
Participate in daily testing and inspections, including X-ray and NDE procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Skills
4+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience.
Proficiency in reading and working to blueprint specifications.
At least 2G certified; 6G certification preferred.
Strong understanding of welding codes and standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a metal fabrication environment.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Willingness to crawl into pipes for welding tasks.
Flexibility to work 50 hours per week, including Saturdays as needed.

Work Environment
This is a metal fabrication environment where temperatures can be extreme—hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates must be accustomed to working in these conditions. The position involves working 50 hours per week, with peak seasons in July and December. Day shift hours are 6am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 2pm on Fridays. Night shift hours, after a training period of 6-8 weeks on days, are 5:30pm - 6am with a premium pay of +$2/hr. The night shift includes four 12-hour shifts and a 7-hour shift on Fridays, with optional 12-hour shifts based on workload. Flexibility for working on Saturdays is occasionally required.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00
