Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the fabrication department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $29/hr
What's the Job?
Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, pipe, and various structural components from blueprints and work orders.
Utilize independent judgment and initiative to complete projects in a timely and safe manner.
Understand and apply AWS welding symbols and codes.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area while adhering to safety rules and quality procedures.
Complete and submit shop work orders and reports to ensure accurate tracking of work performed.
What's Needed?
Minimum of two years of welding experience.
Proven knowledge of American Welding Society welding symbols and codes.
Familiarity with welding processes such as GMAW and FCAW.
Strong sense of urgency and initiative with the ability to solve fabrication problems.
Computer literacy is preferred.
