Job Summary

The Senior SAP ABAP and Fiori Developer will be part of a team of Developers and Functional Analysts engaged in a large-scale effort to design, develop, and implement the transition from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA. The developer needs to be capable of delivering highly complex ABAP and Fiori deliverables in a fast-paced agile model and proficient in working directly with the business and/or project management. This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom ABAP and Fiori solutions in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain SAP Fiori Applications: Standard apps, apps built using standard templates, and custom freestyle UI5 Fiori apps to meet business requirements.

  • ABAP Development: Deliver SAP ABAP development-related tasks needed for the S/4 HANA enterprise project with the ability to flex across different scrums and FICO domain areas.

  • End-to-End Delivery: Independently responsible for end-to-end delivery of ABAP and Fiori solutions, from working with the scrum and UX team, understanding requirements, designing, developing, documenting, and unit-testing applications.

  • Collaborate and Share Expertise: Work closely with others to ensure delivery success and share expertise.

  • Stay Updated: Be at the forefront of new SAP UI and ABAP Technologies, maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and standards.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of SAP development experience in SAP environments in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and SAP Fiori.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP ABAP Technologies and WRICEF development framework (Workflow, Reporting, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms).

  • Minimum 4 years of development experience with SAP UI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.

  • Minimum 4 years of general SAP UI application and development experience (Enterprise Portal, Fiori, WDA or others).

  • Hands-on SAP project experience with expertise in ABAP on HANA, Workflow, ABAP Data Dictionary, Report Programming, Data Migration, Adobe forms, Authorizations, ALE/IDOC, Workflow, Performance Tuning, ABAP Enhancements & Modifications.

  • Minimum 2 full life-cycle SAP projects with S/4HANA.

  • Minimum 3 years of ABAP experience including ABAP application development language, OData Services, AMDP procedures, and CDS views, Object Oriented Development (OO) experience.

  • Hands-on experience with customizing SAP standard Fiori apps, building Fiori apps using templates, and from scratch freestyle Fiori apps.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Strong experience with ABAP application development language, OData Services, AMDP procedures, and CDS views, Object Oriented Development (OO) experience.

  • Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Screen Personas, RAP, and Flexible workflow.

  • Deeper knowledge of S4 HANA.
