The Sr Pricing Analyst will create technical solutions for Energy Sustainability and Solutions (ESS) which drive Commercial excellence, Pricing innovation, and reporting. The ideal candidate is an experienced, detail oriented and self-motivated individual responsible for leveraging pricing data across various systems and dashboards to drive and support key pricing analysis including 80-20 segmentation pricing, price elasticity analysis, and revenue and margin insights. You will use your understanding of Business practices to communicate with other commercial and business functions across ESS. You will work with Pricing, Business, and IT to generate automated solutions to complex problems in the areas of large dataset management supporting pricing analytics, balancing price/volume/mix to improve profitability and tracking of price in support of organic revenue growth. You will use your innate curiosity to dig into problems, constantly asking the question "how can I make this better?"

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across functions to deliver timely, high quality, relevant business data and analytics to drive accountability and deliver financial commitments

  • Develop data modeling, mining, pattern analysis and data visualization to address commercial needs

  • Build operating rhythm with key stakeholders ensuring pricing initiatives are effectively implemented

  • Partner with offering management to analyze end markets and competition to determine new product pricing

  • Partner with customer marketing on targeted price actions for slow moving / obsolete inventory initiatives

  • Partner with procurement and supply chain on commodity inflation / deflation driven price actions

  • Deploy price elasticity analytics to balance price, volume and mix and optimize financial performance

  • Review order trends against previous periods for declining trends and recommend changes to improve sales

  • Cascade and tailor Honeywell initiatives into Energy Sustainability and Solutions business plans

  • Actively participate in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (STRAP) Price processes

  • Track and report progress / gaps on pricing initiatives

  • Ad Hoc analytics as required

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing Strategy, Execution or Analysis; Offering Management; Finance or Marketing

  • 1+ years of experience generating PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership updates

  • Expert in MS-Excel

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics

  • Absolute comfort with numbers and large volumes of data

  • Strong communications skills; Experience working with teams across multiple sites and time zones

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships / highly responsives, Business Intelligence), pricing tools (PROS) and other tools (Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI)

  • Demonstrated results in large, complex, matrix organizations

  • Exposure to MS-Access, VBA for Macros, Tableau

  • Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills

  • Knows financial concepts and impact of various pricing actions on financial statements

  • Logical thinking ability, with problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and hands-on experience
