Honeywell Sr Digital Content Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

Honeywell is seeking a Sr Digital Content Specialist to bring our stories to life through editorial content programs on our website, producing a podcast, creating social-first content and driving storytelling best practices. In this role, you view the Honeywell content as a valuable business asset and are on the front lines of setting the standards and championing the strategy.

Key responsibilities:

·Honeywell.com writer:

o Own editorial content calendar planning and execution, including building relationships across businesses to source stories.

o Interview subject matter experts and write stories for the newsroom, adhering to voice and tone guidelines.

o Incorporate journalism best practices to our corporate website to increase visitor access to and engagement with news, product information and customer support.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative ideas and recognize trends for social campaigns. Collaborate with graphic designers on creative execution, including storytelling through activations such as video, interactive web experiences and infographics.

o Own audience engagement metrics – generate regular reports on KPIs for content and social media to drive strategy. Leverage data to make improvements that will enhance site, traffic, and engagement.

· Support @Honeywell social media activities:

o Assist with asset creation for Honeywell channels.

Propose content.

Produces podcast “The Future Is…”:

o Books guests.

o Manages from idea to execution to promotion.

· Work across a variety of Enterprise Content Management Systems (Adobe AEM, Khoros).

· Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

YOU MUST HAVE:

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in broad-based digital activities.

· A minimum 2 years of journalism or content marketing experience.

WE VALUE:

· Bachelor's degree and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

· Copy editing skills.

· Creative solutioning – the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into broader stories.

· Understands Brand Guidelines and how to ensure projects bring the brand to life in inspiring ways.

· Analytic orientation, experience with digital analytics tools including social.

· Understanding of agency capabilities and process.

· Strong understanding of digital delivery process such as agile and waterfall.

· Ability to tell an overarching brand story framed on future technology trends.

· Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

· Project management skills.

· Ability to work as a team, take direction and move forward.

· Fluent in English.
