Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous, experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Healthcare and Social Assistance industry. This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Accountant, your primary function will involve handling account and balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake the process of account reconciliation to ensure accurate accounting records
• Manage balance sheet reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accounted for
• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Handle journal entries, ensuring they are accurately recorded and aligned with financial guidelines
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data management
• Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete
• Work with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks and data management
• Handle benefits payroll, ensuring all employee benefits are accurately recorded and reconciled
• Manage certified payroll tasks, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Oversee payroll tasks, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for this role.
• The candidate must possess skills in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is a must.
• The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the General Ledger.
• The candidate should be adept at making Journal Entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Month End Close is necessary.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle is preferred.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• The candidate must have knowledge of Benefits Payroll.
• Certified Payroll proficiency is a plus.
• Payroll skills are essential for this role.
