Job Title: Software Quality Engineer III
Location: Coralville, IA Mobile/Remote (On-Site/Work from Home Hybrid)
-Mobile associates must live in an area that does not exceed a 100-mile (150 km) radius of an IDT location. *May require on-site occasional presence for team meetings, etc.

The Software Quality Engineer III will support the quality system activities related to software development. This position contributes to the completion of milestones associated with software projects.
Create test plans, test cases, and automation for new features and enhancements to existing features
Develops automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts and data sets in a continuous integration environment
Work with support and implementation team to investigate production support issues and perform root cause analysis
Participate in Validation to ensure the software meets user needs requirements for a regulated environment
Provide and analyze test data to drafts of validation report
Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing
Provide mentoring and training other team members in best practices and methods

Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with five or more years of experience in software engineering
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with three or more years of experience in software engineering
Minimum of 2+ years working in an Agile software development environment
Three or more years of experience with writing and executing test plans at different levels (unit, functional, integration, system load and performance testing)
Three or more years of experience using automated testing frameworks
Two or more years of experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Advanced knowledge of Python scripting and testing
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.
Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity.
Adaptability to situations requiring the precise attainment of set limits, tolerances or standards.
Ability to perform repetitive work or to perform continuously the same work, according to set procedures sequence or pace.
Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix
One or more years of experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and testing is a plus
