Lowe's Software Engineer- Java Fullstack in Charlotte, North Carolina

You Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

What you will do

  • Experience building high performing backend (or full-stack) applications using Java

  • Excellent knowledge of Java features, patterns and best practices (Java 8+)

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Java Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Webflux, JavaEE, etc.)

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Databases and Data Stores (PostgreSQL, Couchbase etc.)

  • Strong experience working with APIs (REST, JSON API etc.)

  • Strong experience working with GCP(GCS, Apigee, Artifact Registry, Container Registry, GKE etc.) or any other Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, etc.)

  • Strong experience with bitbucket and working with a team using code version control

  • Experience with testing applications and common testing techniques (JUnit, Mockito, Spring Testing, etc.)

  • Experience using OAuth and JWT for authentication

  • Developing the application using React JS framework and Redux architecture where it should match the mockups given by UX Team and work on end to end.

  • Use ECMAScript6 features and Babel for transpiling, Webpack for bundling ES6 code.

  • Creating new components by based on the flow of application and write new Prototypes, Services, Routers.

  • Work on ReactJS like text binding and writing classes using raw JavaScript and JSX files

  • Develop various screens for the front end using ReactJS and use various predefined components from NPM (Node Package Manager) and Redux libraries.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

• 2 years of experience in software development or a related field

• 2 years of experience in database technologies

• 1 year of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field

• 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization

• 4 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software

• 4 years of experience with technical documentation in a software development environment

• 2 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

• 2 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

• Experience with application and integration middleware

• Experience with database technologies

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, DC, IL, WA: $75,300.00 - $143,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
