Please review the following job description:

Work with the Senior Talent Executive on a variety of initiatives and projects pertaining to McGriff talent, including but not limited to recruiting, compensation, turnover, diversity, and other special projects. Identify business needs, assess performance gaps, make recommendations, and create implementation/project plans that enhance the performance of the business unit and maximize the potential of McGriff talent. Serve as a go-to resource and liaison for leaders within McGriff, Insurance Holdings, Truist Human Resources, and others across the organization.

WORK LOCATION:

Remote - Employee can be housed anywhere in the Southeast, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Central Regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Proactively seek to enhance business unit results by identifying business needs, assessing performance gaps, and creating and executing on project plans in support of McGriff talent strategies.

  2. Provide comprehensive data and analytics related to talent, including but not limited to insights on exit information and hiring. Ensure management stays informed on key talent metrics, indicators and trends through the creation, maintenance and enhancement of a talent scorecard. Develop and implement proactive solutions for the business to improve turnover across the business and within targeted markets, and enhancing McGriff’s overall abilities to attract and retain top talent.

  3. Serve as the voice of McGriff as it relates to overall recruitment efforts, including but not limited to campus recruitment, DE&I efforts, and pipeline development. Stay abreast of the relevant challenges within the business, interfacing with and providing feedback to McGriff leadership and Truist partners.

  4. Partner with McGriff leadership, Talent Office, and Total Rewards in the management of various compensation efforts such as incentive plans, job leveling, FLSA changes, career path development, year-end activities, and other ongoing analyses. Work with leadership to identify and resolve issues, develop and draft communications, and effect all necessary changes.

  5. Participate in and/or lead special projects or other business/operational initiatives as appropriate, which typically will include audits, merger and acquisition (M&A) activity, or divestitures.

  6. Employ strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  2. Six years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline

  3. Excellent organization, prioritization and management skills; ability to respond to changing priorities and meet deadlines

  4. Demonstrate sound judgment when responding to requests for data and/or sharing of data and information

  5. Strong analytical capability with proven success in managing large quantities of confidential data

  6. Ability to find clarity and direction in ambiguous situations

  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  8. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties at all levels of the organization and to be highly collaborative and drive partnership and alignment across all HR areas and the business

  9. Possess expert proficiency and demonstrate the ability to develop reports and presentations leveraging advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookup, charts and graphs)
