POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Finance Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial support to the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, finance, working capital, and project installation/service. Leading and mentoring a team of commercial finance professionals, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives. In this role, you will analyze financial data to provide insights that drive business growth and profitability. You will develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

You will report directly to our Director Finance and you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial performance of the business unit by providing strategic financial support and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, optimize working capital, and improve profitability. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to informed decision-making and help drive the success of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function for the Corporate business unit

  • Act as business partner to demonstrate insight of financial trends, productivity, and provide practical recommendations to drive results.

  • Identify performance issues within the business and risks and opportunities in current plan or forecast.

  • Leverage digital tools to drive consistency, efficiency and self-service.

  • Provide guidance and support to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive business growth and profitability

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership

MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in finance or related roles

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software systems

  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices

  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office

  • Professional certification such as CFA or CPA
