As a Senior Experiential Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with a BC+D Creative/Art Director and transdisciplinary teams to create and implement branded communications, user experiences, and wayfinding solutions for national and international clients. Role Overview:
Translate art direction to develop and create multiple compelling design solutions
Contribute with creative and breakthrough designs and ideas on internal brainstorm sessions
Actively participate in and document Client meetings, presentations, & conference calls
Effectively communicate design concepts, both verbally and visually, through sketching, 2D illustration, and 3D visualization
Manage project scope and execute designated tasks within the budgeted timeframe and design expectations
Sourcing and coordinating directly with vendors, contractors, and trade partners
Promote a positive and collaborative team atmosphere
Stay current on design, communication and other relevant industry issues
Participate in firm initiatives outside of client work that impact our team's ability to develop cross-disciplinary relationships
Ideal Experience & Skills:
Experienced in designing compelling experiential graphic design projects from ideation to completion
Experience in experiential/environmental graphic design or related field
Strong with ideation, conceptualizing, and sketching
Strong skills in typography, composition & layout, and information design
Ability to work both independently and actively collaborate with peers in other disciplines to develop holistic design solutions
Working knowledge of sign and environmental graphics production materials and methods
Effective at managing multiple projects simultaneously with a Director's guidance, in a fast-paced environment
Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop specifically)
Other Great Assets for this Position:
Print, logo, packaging, and/or product design
Illustration and/or calligraphy skills
Web and/or interactive design
Knowledge of SketchUp, CAD Tools, SignAgent, Revit, and/or 3D modeling software
