Ferguson is searching for a Sales Project Manager located in the Southeast US, ready to become an integral part of the Southeast Industrial Projects Team. This team serves our combined Mid-South & Mid-Atlantic districts, covering AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC SC, TN, & VA.

This role is an intermediate to senior level position for projects. This associate will report directly to the Southeast Industrial Project Team Leader and will focus on quoting and managing capital industrial projects. Project quotations, opportunity tracking, order entry, securing additional PO’s, customer communications, jobsite coordination’s, branch communication, managing vendors & ensuring the customer has a great experience on their project are some of the primary tasks of this role.

This is a remote role that will support the Mid-South/Atlantic Region. Our ideal candidate must be in EST time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC SC, TN, & VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project quotes, track opportunities, and build rapport with potential and existing customers.

  • Execute on secured orders. Taking a quote, vendor quotes & customer PO all the way through order entry, expediting, and to the jobsite. Owning the project so the customer has a single point of contact.

  • Work with and hand off smaller requests to our branch network and ensure proper execution.

  • Limited travel to warehouses & jobsites for kickoff meetings, onsite trailer setup, or issues that arise.

  • Support the Southeast sales team. You will have internal and external customers in this role.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while managing projects.

  • Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.

  • Work with all associates in the Southeast to support projects. Be a team player!

  • Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together.

  • Willingness to learn and train continually. Specifically, Project Management processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of industrial sales experience is required

  • Ability to travel on a limited basis. Unique situations that require in the field assistance.

  • Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly

  • A high level of integrity when problem solving and decision making

  • Ability to organize and prioritize a large workload

  • You must be proficient in Excel, Teams, Word, & other computer applications

Pay Range:

$4,275.00 - $9,716.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
