Job Summary :
This job is responsible for providing standard research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business. Key responsibilities include carrying out duties under general supervision and assisting teammates while following established procedures.
Position will support the Global Accounting & Reconciliation Team within Global Operations Shared Operations. Functions include but are not limited to: preparation of daily / monthly reconciliations including month-end balance sheet attestation. Partake in tactical and strategic projects focused on improving the reconciliation space, executing controls to reduce risk across the recon utility, and overall support of the operating model.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a reconciliation team member contributing to daily BAU production work through the completion of responsible reconciliations.
• Contribute to reducing risks and driving operational excellence in the reconciliation space including but not limited to:
• Initiatives involving automation & streamlining of processes to reduce time spend and improve the overall reconciliation experience
• Deep dive analysis of reconciliations and related processes to identify issues and areas of improvement
• Operational Excellence initiatives related to the implementation of workflow and reconciliation tools aimed at streamlining daily recon production and break management workflows
Required Skills :
• Experience with reconciliation systems
• Intermediate Excel experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
