Commercial HVAC Operations is searching for a Production Planner - 2nd Shift at our fast-paced manufacturing facility in Charlotte .
About this role
The Chiller Production lines are looking for a Production Planner - 2nd Shift to join our Materials team. The Production Planner - 2nd Shift is responsible for sequencing kits and delegating inventory movements for multiple sites.
This is a second shift onsite position with working hours from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am Monday to Friday with occasional work on Saturdays . The Production Planner must be willing to work overtime as required by the business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Execute the schedule, release, and sequence of kits to the material handlers to pick
Coordinate with the 3PL and the materials teams to ensure timely delivery of kits.
Delegate inventory transactions
Drive the scheduling and picking of kits
Record discrepancies, coordinate cycle counts, and communicate expedites.
Work with the receiving team to coordinate hot inbound deliveries.
Track turnbacks to standard processes and perform root cause analysis to help solve systemic issues
Ensure production takt is met to achieve planned results
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 2 plus years of manufacturing operations experience
OR
- College degree in business, engineering, or supply chain with 1 year plus of manufacturing operations experience
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
English communication (verbal and written)
Interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), and production planning software
