Wells Fargo Procure-to-Pay Transformation Program Lead - Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Supply Chain Management Procure-to-Pay team . The Procure-to-Pay team is responsible for global delivery of support Services to the enterprise including Supplier Enablement, Procurement, Invoice Processing, Accounts Payable, Integrated Tax Accounting, Corporate Travel and Mail and Logistics.

This role reports directly to the Procure-to-Pay Executive and is responsible for the development and implementation of multiple enterprise-wide transformation programs in scope and impact. The Procure-to-Pay organization has the opportunity to lead these efforts and will require a strong leader to deliver on our objectives. This role will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into clearly articulated program execution plans, gain support for the program, assemble working teams and provide execution leadership to deliver measurable results. Program Objectives and Key Results will be defined, monitored and reported on throughout the program.

An immediate opportunity for this role is to lead an enterprise-wide program focused on Third Party expenditure approval requirements and processes. This effort will result in greater efficiency and financial oversight by evaluating policies, processes and infrastructure that support the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process for improvement opportunities, gain support for those opportunities, lead cross-functional workstreams and execute on objectives. This role will be responsible to monitor progress and report program updates, risks and opportunities to senior leadership. Additional transformation programs will be defined through Supply Chain and Chief Administrative Office strategic planning.

The candidate for this role will have significant experience in successfully delivering transformation programs across large, complex organizations. They will be able to develop relationships and influence all levels of an organization. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required for this role to articulate strategic concepts, as well as detailed complexities. Listening skills are a must, along with the ability to collaborate across a broad group of stakeholders. Operating with a risk management mindset and within Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework is a prerequisite for success.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational

  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership

  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of process improvement experience

  • 4+ years of experience with business transformation and change strategy executions

  • 4+ years of experience coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders

  • 3+ years of business planning and execution experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of Procure to Pay and Supply Chain Management functions

  • Delivered transformational results in large, complex organization

  • Demonstrated strategic planning through execution, coordinate highly complex activities and provide leadership to deliver measurable results

  • Business case development, financial knowledge

  • Strong process mindset and ability to translate complex concepts and approaches into clear, concise and simple directives

  • Proven analytical thinking, problem solving skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders

  • Experience compiling and preparing executive summaries and presentations for management/senior leaders

  • Ownership mentality with an ability to design and drive successful execution of priorities

  • Position is required to be in the office 3 days in-person and 2 remotely if desired

  • Expected travel 10 to 15 percent of your time over the course of the year
