PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT JOB SUMMARY
A Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a non-licensed home care aide providing personal care and related services in a clients place of residence. The primary functions of an In-Home Aide are to provide hands on care related to supporting clients in their home with activities of daily living
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Provides those services developed by the agency Registered Nurse as outlined in the clients Plan of Care including but not limited to: Record and report changes in the clients condition, family situation or needs to the RN Supervisor Able to communicate effetely with Agency Staff, peers, clients and their family Must maintain client and agency information confidential Completes required time sheets/log and records them on time and accurately Organizes tasks in a safe and efficient manner with indirect supervision Must provide evidence of annual TB test and other state required test and examinations To participate in training sessions as required by A Heart of Gold Home care Agency ,LLC Does not perform task outside the scope of practice
