Wells Fargo OCxO BI Developer (Senior Lead Data Management Analyst) in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Audit and stakeholder relation business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst within the EFT OCxO Insights group. This role will be to develop and support front-end analytics and dashboards for the CIO organizations. The successful candidate must be able to build dashboards & analytics in Tableau and Power-BI as well as explain the data story showcased in the visualizations

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs

  • Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality

  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies

  • Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

  • Manage Product Ownership role associated to large scale enterprise data warehouse solutions

  • Building dashboards to enable technology insights at the Executive Level

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ year of SQL experience

  • 3 + year Tableau experience

  • 1 + year Power-BI experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience

  • Data Management experience

  • Wells Fargo data management experience

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • An industry-standard technology certification

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
