job summary:
Robotics/Mechanical Test Technician to join a leading manufacturing company. Technicians are responsible for performance, durability, and safety testing for new product development. To be considered - must have experience completing hands-on testing of of outdoor power equipment, power tools, robotics, or related automation equipment.

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Mechanical aptitude
Experience in repair and/or testing of outdoor power equipment, power tools, robotics, or related automation equipment.
Proficiency with computer programs in an engineering environment (i.e. MS Excel, Word, etc.).
Preferred:
Knowledge of data acquisition (e.g. LabView), strain gauges, accelerometers, electric circuit board diagnosis
Associates/Engineering Technology degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related technical field

responsibilities:
Responsible for performance, durability, and safety testing for new product development
Conduct tests on robotic mowers and sub-components at the direction of design/test engineering teams
Maintain documentation of tests during process to allow for clear reporting of test results
Oversee field testing of products in controlled outdoor environments
Construct necessary tooling/fixtures in coordination with test plans
Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment
High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in a Technical Science (MET, Electronics, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to use a variety of tools to test and maintain engines and test equipment.
Proficiency with computer programs in an engineering environment (i.e. MS Excel, Word, etc.).
