EPAM Systems Lead SAP QA Tester in Charlotte, North Carolina

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and triage source-to-target system data using XML, log viewers, interface, and SAP data

  • Lead a QA team of 3-6 members in an onsite/offshore environment

  • Construct and execute test cases for new enhancement and defect fixes

  • Document test failures to assist the developers in investigating the failure

  • Maintain and update regression test scripts with each new release

  • Where necessary, coordinate testing with other application teams

  • Be onsite 3-5 days a week in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC; Morristown, NJ; Purchase, NY; Chicago, IL; Colorado Springs, CO; Dallas, TX; Fargo, ND; Garden City, NY; Houston, TX; Jacksonville, IL; Lenexa, KS; Los Angeles, CA; Lubbock, TX; Mt Juliet, TN; New York, NY; Topeka, KS

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience on SAP applications including a mix of SAP FSCD, FSRI, Business Partner (SAP BP), Workflow and FiGL modules, and SAP TOSCA Automation Tool

  • Proven experience as an SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)

  • History creating new test cases, analyzing failures, and fixing the test scripts independently

  • Capable of interacting with different SAP teams and understanding test cases to be automated

  • Non-negotiable 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis (BA), Quality Analyst (QA) activities of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance

  • BA and/or QA experience in application maintenance, enhancement, and Production Support areas on Information Technology (IT) systems

  • Knowledgeable in SAP BAPI/RFC and has experience with SAP integrations through various upstream applications. GuideWire (GW) system would be of particular interest or any Policy/Claim Admin System

  • Expert in reviewing/creating Test Plans, Test Scenarios, defining Test cases, reviewing, and maintaining Test scripts, and logging and analyzing bugs/defects

  • Experience with SAP releases using SAP ChaRM application and interaction with SAP BASIS teams for Production deployment activities

  • Overall, good SAP knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of software test life cycle, test case life cycle, and defect life cycle
