Your Impact
The Director, Product Management leads a product team (typically 5-10 Product Managers or Associate Product Managers) responsible for a specific product group. This role works with a high level of autonomy and discretion. Responsibilities include leading the team's research and product development efforts as well as implementation and execution of the product group strategy.
This role develops a comprehensive product strategy, maintains the roadmap and backlog, and establishes the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for a specific product group. In addition, the Director, Product Management develops and presents detailed business cases to senior executives and leads business reviews to ensure that the team prioritizes the right work and delivers the most customer value in the fastest time possible.
This individual manages people which includes responsibility for setting individual and team expectations, delegating assignments and managing performance, identifying talent needs, and coaching and developing team members.
What you will do
• Sets and directs product vision, strategy, and OKRs for entire product portfolio. Owns the long-term two- to five-year view of product vision for the product portfolio or strategic capability.
• Influences investment choices that will yield long-term customer benefits in support of vision, including owning the annual planning for the product portfolio and representing the strategy in discussions with leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrates “customer/user expertise within a product portfolio or strategic capability and leverages enterprise-wide resources to drive improved synergies and efficiencies across product teams.
• Coaches and owns the care and management of “jobs to be done by personas for all products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
• Identifies and cultivates opportunities to drive innovation across product portfolio.
• Identifies issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in product portfolio or strategic capability, communicates to leadership, assesses alternatives to resolve, and takes action on recommendation.
• Establishes and audits overall product operating routines across domain to ensure product excellence.
• Coaches the product team on prioritization techniques and influences peers on improving prioritization decisions for product delivery.
• Sets the standard across the product team and enterprise for building usable, viable, and feasible products.
• Builds frameworks and patterns across the product team for product marketing and drives the team to leverage marketing techniques to illustrate the product-market fit of the designated product domain
• Promotes data-driven decision making. Coaches the product team to have right product routines focused on data to help drive roadmaps.
• Aligns product teams on portfolio level metrics. Audits and course corrects to ensure OKRs/metrics are healthy.
• Leads a team in support of achieving the company’s mission. Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 10 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management or product marketing
• 6 years of experience in product and/or experience management
• 6 years of strategy and delivery experience in executing world-class digital products and/or experiences
• 5 years of experience in translating business strategy into specific product features
• 5 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
• 5 years of experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements
• 5 years of demonstrated delivery of business results
• 3 years of experience in an agile software environment
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large organization
• Experience collaborating closely with senior leadership
• 3 years of experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
• Experience providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resources
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience leading large scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Technical savvy. Understands modern concepts like cloud applications, micro services and distributed systems.
• Experience establishing a vision for modern, engaging user experience with a focus on reducing training time and increasing user productivity.
• Experience building modern mobile applications for users on the go.
• Understands and implements concepts of non-functional requirements.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar advanced degree
• 3 years of experience leading the digital product roadmap
• Prior leadership with a top 25 omni-channel retailer
• CSPO Certification
• Strong financial acumen

Pay Range: $147,400.00 - $280,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
