Summary

This is a remote work at home opportunity in the US and supports the Mountain Standard Time zone.

Join our team as a Lead SRE/DevOps Engineer!

In this senior role, you'll guide and mentor junior team members without managing direct reports.

We seek an individual with strong cloud experience, particularly with Azure, and a background in application security.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and steer the team in DevOps best practices and methodologies.

• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Develop and manage Azure release and build pipelines for continuous integration.

• Implement infrastructure automation and container orchestration using tools like Docker.

• Collaborate with software engineers to meet client requirements, employing modern cloud development practices.

• Deploy and manage distributed systems on Microsoft Azure and ensure system reliability.

• Monitor and troubleshoot using Azure Application Insights and other logging solutions.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps.

• Hands-on experience in application security.

• Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.

• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting server and networking issues.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of availability regions, networking concepts, and modern cloud practices such as microservices and REST interfaces.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position is $109,749 to 164,623 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
